Q: What got you into this business in the first place?
A: I desired a career where I could mix business with creativity.
Q: Who was a big influence in your career?
A: One of my key advertising professors, Dr. Weigold. He encouraged independent thinking and individuality. He served as a mentor to me all four years in college and challenged me to challenge myself.
Q: What was “your finest moment,” the thing you’re most proud of?
A: Going to Costa Rica and overcoming my fear of heights by rappelling down a 240-foot waterfall.
Q: What makes a great brand?
A: As Kevin Roberts, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi and author of Lovemarks states, a great brand is one that invokes a “loyalty beyond reason.” In other words, with a great brand, there is no thought process in the decision to choose it over another brand—it is an inherent inclination that comes from multiple positive experiences with the product.
Q: What do you for a good time when you’re not working?
A: Fishing and most all outdoor activities, fitness, art.

A: An amazing learning experience and time to really discover myself.
